Well when i used to have Windows Xp. All id have to do is save the gif as background. However In vista if i save the gif as background it will be a still non animated picture, i do i save it as an animated picture that continuously play at the desktop background screen ?
Vista hates gif. Use Windows Dreamscene if you’re using Ultimate Version. If you’re using other versions except starter edition, you can use a hack for dreamscene.

On yahoo instant messager you can put your own image whne you talk to people, how can I put a gif as my image and still get it to work? I’ve tryed everything i could think of. Any help is appreciated, Thank you.
Yahoo only accepts jpg files, you have to open your gif and save it again as jpg. Then click the little triangle below your display image on the messenger, click “share my picture”. Select the image you want from your harddrive, click on it to open, then click “ok”.

I’m trying to make a gif animation from a video using GIMP software. How do you get to change aspect ratio too?
You go to Image > Scale Image. There isn’t an “aspect ratio” setting in Gimp, but when you scale your image be sure that the chain link next to the width and height isn’t “broken.” That way when you scale your image it will scale proportionality.
